Some progress reported in COVID stimulus talks

There are reports of “a little” progress in talks Monday to combine the House and Senate passed COVID relief bills which are more than 2-Trillion dollars apart. Both measures contain stimulus funds for agriculture.

House leaders Pelosi and Schumer met with Treasury Secretary Mnuchin and White House Chief of Staff Meadows for several hours Monday. They’re meeting again today. Unemployment benefits continue to a sticking point.
