Second round of US-UK trade talks set for June

The U.S. and U.K. will start a second round of trade talks on June 15. About 200 negotiators participated in the first round of trade talks that wrapped up on Friday.

British International Trade Secretary Liz Truss says the meetings were positive and constructive. Negotiators discussed trade remedies, rules of origin, market access for agricultural goods, sanitary and phytosanitary and more.

The second round of trade talks will cover all areas to be included in a Free Trade Agreement.
