RFA: ethanol exports down during February

U.S. ethanol exports dipped in February.

The Renewable Fuels Association says February exports of 101.7 million gallons were down 38% from January, hitting a five-month low. January’s exports were an all-time high for that month.

Sales to South Korea more than doubled and Canada held steady, while exports India, Brazil, and Nigeria all posted significant month to month drops.

Exports of distillers dried grains with soluble were down 15% on the month at 779,324 tons, with slower demand from all of the leading buyers, including Mexico, Indonesia, South Korea, and Vietnam.

The RFA says there were no U.S. ethanol imports during February.
