Request to reevaluate Enlist Duo label registration denied

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit has denied a request to reevaluate the registration of Enlist Duo.

The appeal came after a panel of three judges ruled in July that the herbicide did not violate federal law.  Environmental groups led by the Natural Resources Defense Council and Center for Food Safety argued the herbicide posed a risk to endangered species and the environment.

The judges did order EPA to reevaluate Enlist Duo’s impact on monarch butterflies, but left the registration intact and the herbicide on the market.

Corteva Agriscience, the makers of Enlist Duo, tell Brownfield they are confident in the sustainability and effectiveness of the product.
