Report: U.S. and India are working on trade agreement

Officials in India and the U.S. are working on a limited bilateral trade agreement, according to a Wall Street Journal report.

The Journal says the agreement could be unveiled during a visit by President Trump to India in the coming weeks. It could ease some of the U.S.’s longstanding concerns with India’s trade and economic practices, while in return restoring India’s preferential trade status.
