Positive reports coming out of U.S.-China talks

There are some positive reports coming out the U.S.-China trade talks in Beijing.

Dow Jones reports that trade negotiators have made progress on several issues. It also said that a follow-up conversation between Cabinet-level officials is expected later this month.

President Donald Trump tweeted that talks with China were going “very well.” U.S. Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross also expressed optimism, telling CNBC that “there’s a very good chance that we’ll get a reasonable settlement.”
