Pesticide training goes online & via mail
Private pesticide applicator training has been shifted to online video training or through the mail. The Missouri Department of Agriculture and the EPA are offering the two methods in place of in-person training.
Applicators have the option to get training by attending a Zoom video teleconference or by corresponding through regular mail.
MU Extension field specialists ask applicators to register online for the Zoom meeting and they will mail certificates to those who complete the course. There is no charge for the remote training.
