Perdue’s “Back to Our Roots” continues

Ag Secretary Sonny Perdue is continuing a third leg of his “Back to Our Roots” RV tour the first week of April.

Perdue will make 14 stops throughout Michigan, Ohio and Kentucky to get feedback from constituents on issues and policy.  The tour includes listening sessions, farm visits, education and research facilities and ag businesses including food processors and lumber mills.

Perdue will tour Michigan State University, the Clemens Pork Processing plant and Mastronadi Produce in Coldwater while in Michigan Tuesday.

While in Ohio Wednesday and Thursday, Perdue will tour greenhouses, the Columbus Zoo and Central State University, as well as meet with farm bureau and fire and rescue services.

Brownfield will join the tour on the ground in Michigan and Ohio.

Perdue visited eight states in the Midwest and Northeast last year as part of his RV tour.
