Parson allows DNR waivers, seeks ag damages

Missouri Governor Mike Parson has issued an executive order allowing the Natural Resources Department director to waive or suspend certain rules and regulations to help with response to the flooding emergency and recovery period.

The governor also sent a letter to the Missouri Farm Service Agency asking for its assistance in conducting agriculture damage assessments in a dozen northwest Missouri counties with the potential to add 20 more counties as the flooding spreads.

Parson says it’s important for ALL state agencies to keep working together to help Missourians in flood impacted areas.
