No new meeting scheduled between US and China

President Trump told reporters on Tuesday he postponed trade talks with China last weekend and does not want to speak to Chinese officials right now.

A meeting was scheduled for August 15 to review the phase one trade agreement.

White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows later told reporters there were no new talks scheduled between the two countries, but that US Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer continues to have discussions with his Chinese counterparts about phase one commitments.
