New Soil Health Partnership director focused on data
The new director of the Soil Health Partnership considers data collection critical to success on the land.
Shefali Mehta joined the farmer-led initiative in early August.
Speaking to Brownfield at the Farm Progress Show in central Iowa, she says the Soil Health Partnership works with farmers to be environmentally and economically sustainable.
Mehta is co-founder of an ag tech startup, has served as vice chairwoman of Pheasants Forever, and has worked in roles across public and private sectors including Syngenta.
