New crop protection tool for potatoes and sugarbeets

The EPA has approved the registration of the insecticide Midac FC from Vive Crop Protection.

The product allows farmers to apply liquid fertilizer and an insecticide at much lower rates than seed treatments. 

Midac FC is intended to protect against aphids, leafhoppers, flea beetles and more in potato and sugarbeets and will be available for the 2020 growing season.
