NEVC joins Growth Energy

The National Ethanol Vehicle Coalition (NEVC) will unite with Growth Energy and become Growth Energy Market Development.

“For more than a decade, the National Ethanol Vehicle Coalition has been carrying on the important mission of increasing the availability and use of ethanol,” said Retired Gen. Wesley Clark, Co-Chairman of Growth Energy. “We are excited that they decided to join forces with us and continue that work as a part of Growth Energy.”

Phil Lampert, who has served as executive director of the NEVC since 1997, is now Vice President of Market Development for Growth Energy.

NEVC is the second ethanol association to become part of Growth Energy. The first was the Ethanol Promotion and Information Council which combined with Growth Energy late last year.

  • We’re stopped at Drive Green (in Mobile, Alabama – Airport Blvd station)8 times since February 2009, to get E85 for our 2008 SUV “Flexfuel” vehicle, and this station has been out of E85, or closed, every time! Can you tell me “what’s up,” and where (in Mobile, AL) we can get E85 fuel. I’ve tried calling their local number (no answer), and their toll-free (1-866)(”please check back”). Can you help?
