Nebraska’s corn harvest reaches three-quarters mark

Nebraska farmers have harvested 76 percent of the state’s corn crop, according to the latest crop report.

That’s well ahead of the five-year average of 46 percent.

Soybean harvest, at 97 percent, was virtually complete. Sorghum harvest stood at 51 percent.

Winter wheat rated 43 percent good to excellent.
