Nebraska planting off to good start

Spring planting is off to a good start in Nebraska.

As of Sunday, 20 percent of corn, eight percent of soybeans and three percent of sorghum was in the ground.  All three crops are ahead of their five-year averages.

Winter wheat rated 64 percent good to excellent and 27 percent fair.
