Nebraska co-ops to vote on proposed merger

Members of two eastern Nebraska co-ops—Frontier Cooperative and Midwest Farmers Cooperative—will vote on whether to merge the two organizations.

The boards of directors for Frontier and Midwest voted last week to move forward with the merger vote. Officials say member meetings to discuss the proposed merger will take place over the coming days. Member voting packets will be mailed following the member meetings.
