Nearly all Missouri corn planted; half of soybeans

Ninety-two percent of Missouri corn had been planted as of Sunday and 85% had emerged. Nearly 60% of the crop was in good condition. 

Soybean planting is close to the half-way mark with emergence at 30%. Eighty-eight percent is rated fair to good.

Cotton planting reached 45 percent, well behind last year. Most of the crop is fair to good.

Eighty-three percent of rice had been planted, with 83% rated fair to good.

Missouri’s winter wheat is nearly all headed and 88% is fair to good.
