NCBA likes Kavanaugh Supreme Court nomination

 

The National Cattlemen’s Beef Association likes President Trump’s choice for the Supreme Court.  NCBA’s Scott Yager says the nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh is an opportunity to solidify the conservative tilt of the high court and clears the path for a narrower definition of the Waters of the U.S. rule.

Yager says outgoing justice Anthony Kennedy was partly to blame for what he called “the WOTUS quagmire” because he drafted his own opinion, creating a 4-1-4 split on the Supreme Court decision.
