NASS still accepting Census of Ag responses
U.S. farmers and ranchers can still complete the 2022 Census of Agriculture even though the deadline has passed.
The USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) says it will continue accepting submissions through the spring to ensure all producers are represented in the agency’s data.
NASS will be following up with farmers and ranchers with mailings, phone calls, and personal visits. The agency recommends filling out the census online at nass.usda.gov.
The results of the 2022 Census of Agriculture are expected to be released in early 2024.
