MO rice harvest complete, others close

Missouri harvest and winter wheat planting made some progress under warm, dry conditions last week.       

USDA says the state’s corn crop is 94 percent harvested, even with last year.

Soybean harvest fell further behind last year but improved 10 percent to 81 percent complete.

Cotton harvest is still well ahead of last year at 86 percent complete.

Rice harvest is complete.

Winter wheat planting is slightly ahead at 86 percent complete with nearly three quarters of the crop emerged.
