MO harvest in the home stretch

Missouri is in the home stretch of harvest after a productive week in most areas.    

USDA says the state’s corn crop is 91 percent harvested, two percent ahead of last year.

Soybean harvest fell behind last year but jumped to 71 percent complete.

Cotton harvest is still well ahead of last year at three quarters complete.

Rice harvest is 95 percent complete.

Winter wheat planting is three quarters complete with more than half the crop emerged.
