MN Farm Bureau urges quick passage of USMCA

Minnesota Farm Bureau is urging Congress to approve the U.S. Mexico Canada Agreement.

President Kevin Paap tells Brownfield ratifying USMCA sends a signal to trading partners across the world that the U.S. is back in business in the international marketplace.

“We just don’t have a lot of certainty in agriculture right now. Poor weather, low prices, trade uncertainty, and we’ve got to increase demand. We’re working each and every day to get the message out to get the new NAFTA done now.”

Paap also thanked Minnesota’s Congressional delegation for their efforts to get USMCA to this point.

Brownfield interviewed Paap at the Minnesota Milk Dairy Conference and Expo near Red Wing last week.
