MN Ag Expo returns with message of resiliency
Resiliency will be a theme of the 2022 MN Ag Expo.
Minnesota Soybean manager of brand development and events Sara Hewitt tells Brownfield one of the keynote speakers is Jack Zimmerman, a military veteran wounded in combat late in 2010.
“He actually grew up about 20 minutes from Mankato and his story of recovery and living your life after a catastrophic event is one that I don’t think anyone will want to miss.”
she says soldiers and farmers are often described as resilient.
“And when we can learn from other perspectives and viewpoints and implement on our own farms and in agriculture, there’s key pieces we can take and utilize too even though it happened in a totally different scenario.”
The MN Ag Expo will be January 19th and 20th at the Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center in Mankato.
