MMPA names Outstanding Young Dairy Cooperators

The Michigan Milk Producers Association recently announced their Outstanding Young Dairy Cooperators (OYDC) for the upcoming year.

Darrin and Barbara Siemen will represent the co-op as the 2016 state winning cooperator couple. They farm 1,500 acres just west of Lake Huron in Michigan’s Thumb and milk over 300 cows with a robotic system.

MMPA’s OYDC awards are based on farming operations, farm-related and community activities, and leadership abilities.
