Missouri wheat harvest jumps

Corn development is ahead of last year in Missouri. As of Sunday, 11 percent was silking. Corn condition is mostly good or fair…five percent is excellent. Missouri soybean emergence is 93% with blooming at four-percent, ahead of last year and the average. Like, corn, more than 80% of soybeans are in fair to good condition.

Rice condition is 60-percent good to excellent. Missouri sorghum planting is nearly complete, ahead of average, and seven-percent has headed. Nearly 90% of sorghum is in fair to good shape.

Winter wheat harvest took a big jump in Missouri – now 66% complete.
