Missouri State Fair Queen, fair project winners

Miss Rosie Lenz of Cooper has been named the 2021 Missouri State Fair Queen. Kaylee Lewis of Livingston County has been named first runner up. Megan Schneider of Gasconade County has been named second runner up. Sydney Stundebeck of Chariton County has been named third runner up. Miss Missouri Cattlewoman’s Avery Schiereck was named fifth runner up. 2019 Missouri State Fair Queen Chloe Mumford of Lincoln County is stepping down from her position after being the longest reigning Missouri State Fair Queen in history.

Grand and reserve champion market livestock and meat winners are as listed:

Grand Champion Market Steer went to Payton Rodgers of Savannah, a member of the Kodiak kadets 4-H club

Reserve Champion Market Steer went to Lucas Leefers of Edgerton, a member of the Hoover Heroes 4-H club.

Grand Champion Market Barrow went to Connor Keithley of Chillicothe, a member of the Chillicothe FFA Chapter.

Reserve Champion Market Barrow went to Wyatt Collard of Oronogo, a member of the Carthage FFA Chapter.

Grand Champion Market Lamb went to Payge Dahmer of Nevada, a member of the Nevada FFA Chapter.

Reserve Champion Market Lamb went to Reagan Rodgers of Savannah, a member of the Kodiak Kadets 4-H Club.

Grand Champion Market Goat went to Rylee Anderson of Chillicothe, a member of the Liberty 4-H Club.

Reserve Champion Market goat went to Thomas Limbach of Eugene, a member of the Spring Garden 4-H Club.

Grand Champion Market Pen of Chickens went to Hayden Duncan of Centertown, a member of the Columbia FFA Chapter.

Reserve Champion Market pen of Chickens also went to Hayden Duncan.

Grand Champion Youth Ham went to Josie Stewart of Russellville, a member of the Russellville FFA Chapter.

Reserve Champion Youth Ham went to Quynten Cary of California, a member of the California FFA Chapter.

Grand Champion Youth Bacon went to Trent Haas of Curryville, a member of the Bowling Green FFA Chapter.

Reserve Champion Youth Bacon went to Kash Hentges of Clarksburg, a member of the Tipton 4-H Club.

All listed grand and reserve fair projects will be sold during the Missouri State Fair Sale of Champions on Saturday in the Lowell Mohler Assembly Hall attached to the Mathewson Center.

    I think that there might be a typo with Missouri Cattlemen’s contestant, Avery Schiereck coming in as 4th runner up.
