Missouri State Fair awarded for grant program

The Missouri State Fair has been awarded the Agriculture Judges’ Choice Award at the International Association of Fairs and Expositions virtual convention for its first-time exhibitor grant program. The grant program helps youth fund their first livestock project shown at the fair.  

Missouri State Fair Director Mark wolf called the award an ‘outstanding honor’ and says the grant program is an ‘amazing way’ to cultivate future ag leaders. 

The fair’s grant program was selected for the award among 119 entries. The grant is in partnership with the Missouri State Fair Foundation.
