Missouri has hemp application process in place

Missouri now has a hemp application process in place. Sami Jo Freeman is with the Missouri Department of Agriculture and tells Brownfield Ag News, “One of the main questions we’ve had in Missouri ag for the last 12 to 18 months is ‘how can I get my registration to grow hemp?’ And what we released yesterday, finally answers that question.”

Interested hemp growers in the state can go online to the Department’s website which will begin accepting producer registration applications on January 2, 2020. Sample applications and guidance are online. Official applications will be available December 16th.
