Missouri governor hands out ag awards

Governor Jay Nixon is traveling the state today handing out awards for agricultural achievement. The Governor’s awards honor “outstanding farmers, growers and processors in a variety of agriculture commodities.”

This year’s recipients are the owners and employees of:

-Heritage Valley Tree Farm in Washington, MO

-Oak Knoll Ranch in Salem, MO

-M & M Dairy in Rogersville, MO

-Thiel Farms – one of Missouri’s top corn growers – of Marshall, MO
