NASS: Missouri crop conditions decent

Missouri’s rainfall last week was two inches above normal at just over 3.3 inches.

Topsoil moisture is 56 percent adequate and 30 percent surplus.

Corn condition as of Sunday was 83 percent fair to good.

Soybeans were 96% planted with 88% of beans in fair to good condition.

Cotton setting bolls was a head of the average at nine-percent. Condition is nearly 70% good.

Rice condition is mostly fair to good.

Winter wheat harvested for grain is behind the average at 51%.
