Missouri corn, soybeans in mostly good condition

Missouri’s corn crop is rated mostly good and corn silking is three percentage points ahead of last year.

Soybean planting reached 94 percent as of Sunday, well ahead of last year. Emergence is also ahead. Condition is mostly good.

Cotton planting progressed to 95 percnt and squaring reached 12 percent, both a bit ahead of last year. Rice condition is mostly fair to good. Winter wheat harvest is 66 percent complete, well ahead of last year. Condition of the crop is mostly fair to good.
