Missouri corn planting 67% complete

Corn planting in Missouri got close to 70% at the start of this week. That’s 11 percentage points behind average. Corn emergence is just 33%.

At 14% complete, soybean planting in the state is 10 percentage poings ahead of last year.

Cotton planting reached 10% as of Sunday, 11 percentage points behind a year ago. Rice planting reached 51%, on pace with last year.

Nearly 60% of winter wheat had headed and condition remains is mostly in the fair to good categories.
