Minnesota harvest remains a week and-a-half ahead of usual pace

Minnesota farmers pushed through some wet field conditions to keep the harvest pace about a week and-a-half ahead of normal.

The latest weekly crop report from USDA shows soybeans at 98 percent harvested, 12 days faster than the five-year average.

Corn harvest is 83 percent done, 11 days ahead of average.

The sunflower and sugarbeet harvests are both more than 90 percent complete.
