Michigan Ag Council partners with farmers markets
The Michigan Ag Council and Michigan Farmers Market Association have announced a new partnership to better meet consumers where they are.
Vendors at the more than 300 farmers markets across the state will now have access to materials to promote their products as “Michigan GROWN, Michigan GREAT” and the ag council plans to visit markets to inform consumers about Michigan agriculture.
The groups hope the partnership also brings the voice of small and non-traditional farmers to the council to create a more unified message about locally grown food.
