Piper Merritt of Oklahoma was elected as central region vice president. She says before FFA she didn’t know much about the agriculture industry, beyond that it was the food on her plate and now she wants to be an advocate for the industry.
“I want to work in public policy and legislation that helps the agriculture industry and I truly believe that it’s because of FFA that I’m passionate about it and get to do it,” she says.
