McConnell says new NAFTA won’t happen this year 

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell says Congress won’t vote on the new U.S. Mexico Canada Agreement this year.

The Kentucky Republican told Bloomberg the new NAFTA will be “a next year issue” because there are too many steps to get through before the end of the year.

But, he says the new agreement will be at the top of the agenda next year.
