Little planting progress in Indiana

Rain continues to delay planting progress in Indiana.

Two percent of the corn crop is planted, compared to the five-year average of 17 percent.  

The winter wheat crop is 52 percent good to excellent.

Fieldwork activities included spring tillage, spreading fertilizer, and preparing equipment for planting.
