Limited fieldwork in Ohio

Wet conditions continued to limit fieldwork in Ohio, according to the latest USDA crop progress and condition report.

Oats are 30 percent planted, compared to the 60 percent last year. Eleven percent of the crop has emerged.

Sixty-six percent of the winter wheat crop is rated good to excellent.

Topsoil moisture is 98 percent and subsoil moisture is 99 percent adequate to surplus.
