Late season deer hunting patterns

The whitetail rut is winding down, and that means hunters will soon shift towards their late season hunting strategies.

Southern Iowa hunter Lance Cornelius, a member of The Woodsman and BuckVentures, says the late muzzleloader season towards the end of December can be a prime time to harvest mature whitetail bucks.

He explains some of his strategies in the latest episode of Brownfield’s Outdoor Adventures.
