Largest launch ever for Credenz in 2020

Marc Hoobler, U.S. Soybean Agronomy Lead for BASF tells Brownfield growers today have many trait options.  In 2020, Credenz will offer 43 new varieties, the largest launch every for the Credenz brand since it was established 5 years ago.

2019 has been a challenging growing year across the country, but Hoobler says the good news is that growers have many tools available to help them manage their soybean crop. He tells Brownfield growers are having great success using BASF proprietary seed treatments on Credenz soybeans protect young plants from early season insect and disease damage.

Hoobler is excited about the new technology and the increased choices – especially from a trait standpoint – available to farmers today. 

“That’s one of the things that we are most excited about with Credenz is really promoting our new trait platform, LibertyLink GT27, within the Credenz brand.”

 “The days of relying on a single herbicide or platform are over,” said Hoobler. “I think that’s a good thing for growers.”

Every field is different, every farmer has a different need.  Hoobler said they are seeing tremendous results with the LibertyLInk GT27 program.  He said BASF is focused on offering real solutions for the problems growers have.
