Land O’ Lakes launches Dairy Accelerator for new dairy businesses

An established dairy industry leader is launching a Dairy Accelerator Program to help new companies bring products to market.

Land O’ Lakes Innovation and New Business Development Director Patrick Aaberg tells Brownfield it’s a program for dairy start-up companies to help them jump-start new businesses.  “We’re looking to do a three-month program at the end of this year that provides (information to) them. It will be customized to their needs, what they need to grow and leverage the resources and expertise that Land O’ Lakes can bring to help them do that.”

Aaberg says they are looking for U.S. based dairy entrepreneurs with new product ideas to help them be more successful.  “There will be opportunities related to finance, brand building, marketing, manufacturing, sales and distribution, leadership development, really just a cross-section of all business functions and training.”

Land O’ Lakes is also covering travel costs, allowing the new businesses to focus their resources on their products.

Companies interested in the Dairy Accelerator Program have until July 8th to sign up online.

The selected participants will be trained later this year in the Minneapolis-St. Paul Minnesota area.
