Kettler named new Director of Indiana Ag
Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch has named Bruce Kettler as the new director of the Indiana State Department of Agriculture.
The Lt. Governor says Kettler is committed to the agriculture industry and knows what innovations and strides are needed to ensure Indiana is at the forefront of agriculture. She says his experience and dedication to agriculture development makes him an excellent choice as director.
Most recently Kettler has served as the director of public relations for Beck’s Hybrids. Kettler holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the Ohio State University.
In a statement, Indiana Pork’s executive director Josh Trenary says he is pleased with the announcement.
“Kettler brings a wealth of experience in agriculture to the department,” he says. “He is an an outstanding leader and Indiana’s 3,000 pig farmers look forward to working with him to continue to move Indiana to the forefront of the pork industry.”
