John Deere excited for DataConnect partnership

A John Deere representative says the company is excited to meet the needs of their customers with the new cloud-to-cloud data exchange platform, DataConnect.

Jennifer Badding with John Deere’s intelligence solutions group tells Brownfield the interface is a partnership between John Deere, CLAAS, CNH Industrial and 365FarmNet.

“So, it gives our customers that have mixed fleets, weather it is different colors or age, the ability to use one system to view their information.”

Badding says their portal, the John Deere Operations Center, offers more than 100 connected software tools to help manage fleets of equipment. Farmers will now be able to securely share data to and from their preferred portal without having to manually transfer the information.

“We realize that technology is really important to our customers and so we are always looking to meet their needs and working to help make them more profitable.”

Badding says DataConnect is set to be released later in 2020.
