Iowa’s corn harvest has passed the three-quarters mark.

The latest crop report shows 78 percent of the crop was harvested as of Sunday. Farmers in northeast Iowa were nearly done, while farmers in south-central Iowa still had over 50 percent of their crops left to harvest.

Only six percent of the soybeans remain to be harvested.

Soil moisture conditions improved following recent rains and snow. Topsoil rated 40 percent short to very short with subsoil called 53 percent short to very short.
