Iowa soybeans 74% harvested and corn at 38%

Corn and soybean harvest are advancing well ahead of normal in Iowa.

USDA’s latest weekly crop report says corn is 38 percent harvested, six days ahead of the five-year average.

Soybean harvest is 11 days faster than the usual pace at 74 percent complete as of Sunday.

Iowa farmers are also doing tillage and applying fall fertilizer and manure.
