IN crop conditions slip

The USDA says most of Indiana’s crop conditions fell last week.

According to the latest crop progress and condition report, the state’s corn crop rating fell to 73 percent good to excellent. The state’s soybean condition rating fell to 69 percent good to excellent condition.

Eighty-eight percent of winter wheat is harvested, and 76 percent of the crop is in good to excellent condition.
