Some HSUS board members defect

Seven board members of the Humane Society of the United States reportedly have resigned after the full board voted to maintain CEO Wayne Pacelle in his current position. The Washington Post says the defections came after Thursday’s vote to keep Pacelle at the helm, although he is accused of sexual harassment. An internal HSUS investigation identified three complaints against him. Pacelle has denied the allegations to the Post which reports some contributors are calling for his resignation.
