Hinson says more biofuels support needed

A U.S. Representative from Iowa wants long-term certainty for year-round E15.

Republican Ashley Hinson says the country is facing an energy affordability crisis, and biofuels are part of the answer. “It’s great to have options,” she said. “Our biofuels present a great option now that gas has topped $4.17 a gallon.”

Hinson praised Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds for signing the nation’s first renewable fuels mandate into law this week.
