Heirs’ Property Relending program open
The USDA is encouraging ag lenders to apply for Heirs’ Property Relending Program loans to help ag producers and landowners resolve ownership and succession issues.
Farm Service Agency loans up to $5 million at one percent interest are available to eligible lenders through the program. Lenders can then reloan funds to help property heirs resolve title issues through financing purchases or consolidations as part of succession plans.
