Grassley: Senate vote on USMCA depends on impeachment process

Now that the Senate Finance Committee has approved the USMCA trade deal, the next question is when the full Senate vote will take place.

Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley says the timing of the vote depends on when the House delivers its articles of impeachment.

“If the articles of impeachment don’t come up, I would say by next week for sure. But, if the articles of impeachment come up, it could be the end of the month,” Grassley says.

The Finance Committee advanced USMCA Tuesday by a vote of 25 to 3.
